AfterOpen ledger

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

After is designed to keep your decision ledger on your device. This policy explains what we collect, what we do not collect, and how you stay in control.

1. Data stored on your device

Your decisions, outcomes, notes, and settings are stored in your browser’s local storage on the device you use. That data does not leave your device unless you export it or enable an agent connection you control.

2. What we do not collect by default

  • No advertising trackers
  • No third-party analytics pixels
  • No sale of personal data
  • No requirement to create an account to use the local ledger

3. Optional agent access

Agent features (MCP) are off by default. If you enable them, you choose what an agent on your machine may read or write. After does not send your vault to our servers when you use the static web app.

4. Export and deletion

You can export your vault as JSON or Markdown at any time. You can delete the vault on this device from Settings. Clearing site data in your browser also removes local After data.

5. Hosting logs

If After is served by a host (for example Netlify), standard web-server logs such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL may be processed by that host under their terms. Those logs are not your ledger contents.

6. Children

After is not directed to children under 16. Do not use the product if you are under the applicable age in your jurisdiction.

7. Contact

Privacy questions: use the contact channel listed on your deployment owner’s site or repository.
